Hi, I’m tamara crean.

Welcome to the Hive! I’m Tamara Crean, owner of Wheelhouse Pilates, and the Buckley House. My goal has always been to help others feel confident and strong in their bodies. This drove me to open up my now pilates studio, Wheelhouse Pilates, where I could create opportunity for clients to push their physical boundaries in a safe and mindful way all while having fun.

Through the past several years I have met so many amazing, strong, and powerful women in our community who share the same dedication to wellness. This brought me to dream up The Hive - a wellness collective of women-owned small businesses that can bring a wealth of health to our community. We are thrilled to have physical therapy, sound healing, mediumship, coaching, yoga, meditation, pilates, pelvic floor healthy, an aesthetician, and many more to come, in our historic space. We want to support complete wellness for every person that walks through our doors.

We do agree that complete wellness includes more than getting massage or doing yoga. This dream is rooted in Community. Buckley House and The Hive will have an open door policy where all are welcome to come enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces, grab a cup of coffee or tea in the kitchen, sit on the porch and do work, or even meet a couple of Friends to share an afternoon hanging out. A community meeting spot. We will be holding workShops on everything from Gut Health to Creating Native Plant Gardens. We also have space available for other members of the community to host their own events and workshops!

I love our town. I love the support and the friendships that Clifton has provided to me and to Wheelhouse Pilates. We are stronger together and Clifton and its people are a testament to that. We are so blessed to live in such and special place where we know our neighbors and belong to each other.

My Approach

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Dream it

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.

Build it

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
